Works under the supervision of the Practice Nurses and GPs and is trained to carry out a range of procedures i.e. taking blood, checking blood pressure, foot examinations, B12 Injections, comfort calls, home visits for housebound and health checks.

Our team of receptionists help to keep the practice running smoothly. They will assist in booking emergency and routine appointments, undertake repeat prescriptions and deal with any queries you may have. District Nurses
The district nurses are based at Failsworth Health Centre and hold clinics for dressings, removal of stitches, ear syringing etc.

In addition we at certain times of the year we do have both 4th & 5th year medical students from Manchester University. You would always be asked if you are happy to share your appointment time with a student and if you did not wish to engage just let us know.
