On this website you will find the services we offer set out along with some helpful phone numbers. There is also advice on illnesses that you may feel you can manage yourself.

The practice takes pride in its services and in its ability to deliver state-of-the-art health care. We believe this enables us to offer a really unique service. Always people-centred, we endeavour to create a genuinely caring environment both for our patients and for our staff whilst also encouraging patients to take responsibility for their own health.

Important Notice

The practice is always moving forward and these are our planned areas for change in the next few months.

ELECTRONIC APPOINTMENT BOOKING

We will promote and offer the facility to book, view, amend and cancel appointments online.

ONLINE REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

We will continue to promote the use of this facility and expand the functions that we offer, you can order online at present and you will also be able to view and print your requests again on line. You can also order your repeat prescription via email on OLDCCG.icgmedlock@nhs.net

PATIENT ACCESS TO THEIR GP RECORDS

Within the next few weeks we will be moving to a new Emis Clinical System on completion of which we will promote the use of this facility to our patients.

You will be able to view, export and print your information.

Any questions or queries regarding these proposed changes please do not hesitate to contact our Practice Manager or any other member of staff who will help.

The surgery doors are open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 6.30pm

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday is extended hours and the surgery opens at 7.00am

Information

New Government Policy

From April 2014 all patients aged 75 and over will be allocated a named GP. If you are in this age band we will have written to you recently advising you of your named GP.

Disabled Access
The surgery is purpose built and easily accessible by wheelchair and we comply with Disability Regulations.

    Breast screening

    Breast screening has now resumed. All women between the age of 50 and 70 will be invited for screening. You will receive an invite letter from the Breast Screening Unit informing you that your breast screening examination is now due. Upon receiving this letter you will need to contact us to make an appointment - details of how you make the appointment are outlined in the letter. Safety procedures have been put in place due to COVID-19 and your safety is our upmost priority. All our staff at the Screening Units will be wearing PPE. Also aged 71 & over can now self refer: Breast Screening self-referrals for women aged over 71 years are currently suspended due to the impact of COVID-19. Please remember to be ‘Breast Aware’ and self-examine your breasts at least once a month If you have any concerns about changes in your breasts please consult your GP for further advice
